At the coming of the 103th anniversary of the founding of XMU, on April 5, 2024, Express Service Center, a place for teachers and students to collect as well as send the package, was officially opened at XMU Xiang’an Campus. Deng Zhaohui, Vice President of XMU, Chen Guang, Assistant President of XMU, Director of Administration Committee of Xiang’an Campus, Su Dengshan, Deputy Director of Office of Campus Construction, and other representatives attended the opening ceremony. Ma Long, the Party secretary of XMU Logistics Group, presided over the opening ceremony.

In her opening remarks, Deng pointed that the opening of Express Service Center would cater to the needs of XMU faculty and students. incorporating high-tech elements into its daily operations, Express Service Center aimed to improve the package collecting&sending experience of users and to help increase the work productivity of its staff. And Deng expressed her aspirations for the center to provide XMU teachers and students with a multifunctional area to read, study, and work, fostering a vibrant campus culture.
